Jake grew up in the backwoods of Indiana raised by divorced parents splitting his time between small town life and working alongside his biker father in their families sawmill. A checkered past of drugs and alcohol abuse pushed Jake into church in his early 20's. Soon after he picked up a microphone for the first time, but as a preacher. Around a decade later he decided religion wasn't for him, left the ministry and walked into a comedy club never looking back.
With expertise in comedy, both clean and uncensored, Jake is a versatile performer who can adapt to any audience and event. A story teller with the ability to talk about his time in Church, the drug stories of the past or raising a family of three with a twist. Whether you're looking for a family-friendly show or a more mature performance, Jake can create a customized act that meets your needs.
